Priceless jade and treasure are hidden in the stone.
Yet outsiders keep searching for it elsewhere.
It is like carrying a lamp while looking for fire.
Better to gather yourself and stop the wasted effort.

石藏无价玉和珍，只管他乡外客寻； 宛如持灯更觅火，不如收拾枉劳心。

Story allusion
Pang Juan of Wei and Sun Bin of Qi both studied under Guiguzi, but Sun Bin was more gifted. Pang Juan became jealous, framed him, and had his feet cut. Sun Bin escaped by pretending madness and later served Qi. When Pang Juan inspected Sun Bin's Eight Gates formation, he recognized it but could not break it. Sun Bin then used a strategy of reduced cooking fires to lure Pang Juan to Maling Road, where he was killed by hidden crossbows.
